Responsible
Tourism
India, Nepal, Bhutan and Tibet are conservative countries. Dress respectively
with an awareness of local standards. Covered thighs and shoulders is
the norm in India. Dress modestly at religious sites. G-strings showing
above hipster shorts maybe be great in Bondi Beach Sydney, but is the
equivalent to walking around naked in India and can attract undesirable
attention! Visitors should be aware of the cultural differences and local
rules and values. If possible before leaving home try and learn what is
appropriate behavior and body language.
Try
and support local owned businesses. Bargaining is the way of life in India,
keep it light and bright and remember it is part of the tradition not
a way to rip you off! Be generous and always try and leave a tip.
Always ask before photographing or videoing people and if you can, send
them back a photo to leave positive impressions. Polaroid cameras for
instant photos are fantastic.
Be wary of giving gifts or money to beggars,
supporting the community through a local school or charity is more constructive.
Tiwari Travel has various charities it can recommend.
Flexibility
The nature of travel and the unique places to see, necessitate a degree
of flexibility. Things change and travel can be challenging. We
as a travel business endeavor to cater for all your needs and the situation
at hand as it arises. The number one focus is the success of your trip!

Traveling
with Children
Children are fine for most of our Group
Tours, due to the comfort, safety and convenience
of our private vehicles and experienced professional drivers. If you wish,
we can design a private family tour, to cater for the needs of your children.
Health
& Safety
There are a number of health factors that need to be considered before
any extensive travel, and mostly these are addressed by common sense and
practical medical advice from your health care professional or GP. Apart
from what we can advise you on our website and in person, there are numerous
travel information resources available on the Internet. For Australians:

Vaccinations
Vaccinations can be administered one week prior
to departure to India. However we recommend that you seek your own medical
advice. Consult your physician or travel medical advisory.www.travelvaccines.com.au
